About Kopano

Kopano is a stokvel operating system for organisers and members who need a clear, shared record of contributions, payout order, reminders, and proof of payment.

Our purpose is simple: replace scattered WhatsApp messages, notebooks, and spreadsheets with one transparent workflow—without taking custody of the group's money. Funds stay in members' own accounts or the group's existing bank account.

We are building for the people carrying the monthly administration burden. By making records visible to every invited member, Kopano helps organisers spend less time chasing updates and gives groups a stronger basis for resolving questions together.
